It consciously takes songs written and performed by bands and individuals who have been at the centre of pop fashion (Sinatra in the 1940s and 1950s, The Velvet Underground in the 1960s, Roxy Music and David Bowie in the early 1970s, XTC and Talking Heads in the late 1970s-early 1980s, and The Cure, Simple Minds, Killing Joke and The Psychedelic Furs in the 1980s) and recrafts them so they are truly timeless.
