Multi Golden guitar winner Adam Brand's new album Good Friends, picks up where his sensational debut album left off. The last two years has seen Adam grow and mature as an artist as he experienced a meteoric rise to the top of the Australian country music mountain. Releasing an album of great songs the first time around, Adam Brand was under great pressure to find songs for his sophomore album that were as good as, if not better than his debut. Good Friends sees Adam lend his vocals to tracks written by some of Australia's finest song writing talents. Featured prominently is legendary songwriter Don Walker of Cold Chisel fame, who Adam lists as one of his "heroes" in the albums liner notes. Walker wrote three songs on Good Friends, including the moving title track. Other songwriters who contributed to this album include fellow country musicians Colin Buchanan and Graeme Connors, as well as Brand himself.
