Description
BIG STEVE and his wife STEPHANIE ARLENE, aka THE ARLENES release ‘Going To California’ their follow up to debut, ’Stuck On Love’, which was hailed by sources as diverse as the DAILY MAIL, THE TIMES, MOJO and UNCUT as one of the best British country albums ever recorded.
The album was recorded in Austin, Texas with MIKE STEWART (producer of THE GOURDS), JOHN DEE GRAHAM, FLOYD DOMINO and CORNBREAD.
The resulting album tells the tale of the band's preparation and eventual move to the States - the fond farewells, the last words and also the settling of a few old scores.
The Arlenes have supported the likes of HAL KETCHUM and WYNONNA JUDD.
