After 2 years in the studio with this baby, QUANT unleashes an extraordinary listening adventure full of songs, high production stantards, musicality and energy. So many of these cuts are going to end up on the dancefloor and all the songs will immediately find theirn way into your psyche making you sing along with the disc and keep singing afterwards. The album benefits hugely from Quant’s willingness to work with some of the great, young vocalists on the scene, such as MIMI TERRIS (of B.L.E.S.S.), JESSICA WINNBERG, SALOME KENT, GUIDA DE PALMA and our favourite soul man, JONATAN BACKELEI a.k.a. ERNESTO’S. Some other famioliar names and some not so familiar ones bring finishing touches of percussion, sax or string arrangements from JOEL ERIKSSON (a name we know from the Gonkyburg scene) , Stefan Engberg and Olle Nicklasson. One of Quant’s strengths is that he knows how to create authentic arrangements with classic synth and keyboard sounds, building up layers of energy and rhythm that are topped off by the expert vocals. This album definitely qualifies as a masterpiece. If you are travelling down this musical path then other stepping stones on your journey may include Jazzanova and MAW.
