Description
When a wealthy family arrive at their holiday home, their idyll doesn't last long. While father (Roth) and son sail the lake in their yacht, mother Ann (Watts) is asked by a neighbour's houseguests for a handful of eggs. But their neat, educated appearance betrays a sinister intention, and Ann realises these two men play games. Cat-and-mouse games. Haneke's study of emotional terror and senseless violence is one of the most chilling ever made.
