One listen to From Scene to Shining Scene immediately reveals what's missing from most latter-day punk rock: killer melodies. Breathlessly fast tempos carry an endless cavalcade of lighthearted, Descendents-esque hooks on this delightful platter. Blink 182 would kill for songs this good.
