This deadpan comedy brings self-consciousness to the extreme, as Michael Pressman plays himself, a theater director having marital difficulties with his real-life wife, actress Lisa Chess. The two decide to try to reunite by working on a play together; Michael will direct Lisa in a production of FRANKIE AND JOHNNY IN THE CLARE DE LUNE. Unfortunately, everything goes wrong, in large part due to the male lead (Alan Rosenberg), and the lines between life and art become blurred in some most unusual ways.
