Description
It's rare to come across a melodic hardcore band that doesn't just write songs about girls, beer, or flatulence. In the case of Greyarea, the New York City natives take a personal stance on friendship, personal loss, and domestic violence and set it to a background of galloping, high speed punk. A majority of Fanbelt Algebra combines the East Coast underground sound of Gorilla Biscuits and Sick of It All, with a melodic energy of Good Riddance, AFI, and Lifetime. But with their own lyrical maturity of cathartic aggression makes Greyarea stand out amongst the thousands of bands who attempt to capture that Bad Religion sound. ~ Mike DaRonco, AMG
