Following the successful re-issue of ‘Replicas Redux’ and the accompanying sold out UK tour, Beggars Banquet are making available a recording from the original 1979 -1980 tour. Following Gary Numan’s remarkable success in the UK (two No.1 albums and singles) he embarked on a world tour during 1980, playing material from his three albums alongside new compositions. ‘Engineers’ is a limited edition release of a recording made on the final night of the legendary ‘Touring Principle’ for Triple J Live At The Wireless at the Capitol Theatre in Sydney in 1980. Tracks performed include “Airlane”, “Are Friends Electric”, “Replicas” and “I Die, You Die”. It comes in collector’s limited edition packaging in a digi-pak with a 12 page poster featuring previously unseen photos from the tour.
