LENNON / YOKO ONO, JOHN

The year 2000 marks two notable anniversaries in the John Lennon calendar. October 9 would have been his 60th birthday and December 9 is the 20th anniversary of his untimely, tragic death. To mark these events we are re-issuing two of his landmark albums, "Plastic Ono Band" and "Double Fantasy". Released in November 1980, only weeks before the world was stunned by the tragic news of his death, "Double Fantasy" is an album of songs alternating between John and Yoko. The album has been digitally remastered and features 3 bonus tracks ("Help Me To Help Myself" - demo of John singing and playing the piano, "Walking On Thin Ice" - the single John and Yoko were recording the night he died and "Central Park Stroll" - a short dialogue of John & Yoko walking in Central Park. "Double Fantasy" will retain the original artwork and include new and rare photographs from the era.
