Description
With Digimortal Fear Factory have produced their best album since their debut Soul Of A New Machine. Their trademark abrasive guitars and wall of sound are still prevalent, as are the vocal stylings of Deep Throat Martyr Burton C Bell. His fondness of death metal growls being coupled with full vocal singing is again a feature of this album, and they have refined their sound to be even more affective.
Since they smashed into the scene in 1991, Fear Factory have been one of the very few metal acts to not only maintain their sound, but to also remain at the forefront of cutting edge heavy music. Their open use of electronic features and their excellent production have allowed them to stay current while many of the other metal acts have dropped off the pace.
