Description
A futuristic comic feast set in a post-apocalyptic society in which foods is so rare it is invaluable and used as currency. When a young clown applies for a job at his local delicatessen, the butcher intends to have him work for a short while and then serve him to his strange customers. When the clown falls in love with the butcher's daughter, she tries to foil her father's cannibalistic plans. Delicatessen is the most internationally famous French feature film of the 90's.
