Four astronauts are on a 20-year mission in space. Their task is to demolish stray planets that have left their orbits using self-controlled nuclear bombs. The fact that the mission's captain has been dead for years, and even worse, their whole stock of toilet paper was burnt in an accident would be bad enough, but when one of the bombs is beginning to question its own existence, things start to get seriously tough! John Carpenter's directional debut is a classic cult movie that hasn't lost its satirical qualities even today!
