Description
For Ill Nino, first there was Revolution Revolucion, which introduced the Latin-flavoured sextet to heavy music fans around the globe. An instant favourite with fans of alternative and modern hard rock bored with the rap/metal clones, Ill Nino was something new, something different, and definitely something spicy. With their explosive and dynamic percussion and Spanish-guitar undertones, the band lent a much-needed world element to their sound and launched a distinct new genre dubbed 'Latino-metal'.
Confession takes Ill Nino's well noted potential to a satisfying climax developing a tracklisting that captures their collective attitude, emotion, and aggression. Ill Nino also have the dubious honour of being the lead track for the forthcoming 'Freddy Vs Jason' celluloid showdown with a preview track from Confession - How Can I Live?; the accompanying video also features a theme in line with the film as the band play in a basement located under the infamous Elm Street. Once Confession hits the streets, there will be no looking back for Ill Nino, as they have struck an artful balance between memorable and menacing.
