Description
Tegan and Sara, who saw their single "Walking with a Ghost" covered by The White Stripes, continue to develop as songwriters with an unmistakably distinctive vocal style. Following up from their the critically-acclaimed 2004 release SO JEALOUS named one of the fifty best albums of 2004 by Rolling Stone magazine - THE CON which introduces 14 new tracks showcasing the evolution of Tegan and Sara's melodic and rhythmic vision.
The CD featuring the catchy track "Back In Your Head" was Produced by Christopher Walla (Death Cab for Cutie) along with Tegan Quin and Sara Quin. Guests include Jason McGerr of Death Cab for Cutie (drums), Hunter Burgan of AFI (bass), Matt Sharp of The Rentals (bass) and Kaki King (guitar).
THE CON, DVD/mini movie is based on the story behind the songs included on the album and includes 140 minutes of interviews and behind the scenes studio footage.
