Description
After an impulsive, regrettable affair with his pretty young assistant, guilt-ridden family man, Walter Pearce (
Ray Liotta), confesses his indiscretion to his wife of twenty-four years, Deborah (Glenne Headley), who promptly kicks him out of the house (and cleans out their joint bank account in the process.) A penniless, remorseful Walt is taken in by his next door neighbour, arrogant star quarterback of the local high school football team, Skylar Eckerman (
Shaun Sipos). Skylar has just sustained a career-ending knee injury, and is also feeling extremely sorry for himself. Their dreams abruptly dashed, the two men form an odd couple alliance as they attempt to get their lives back on track.
