ANTHRAX

This compilation from U.S. heavy metal outfit Anthrax features "Armed And Dangerous" and "Parasite," among other tracks. Even they are not keen on their name in the post 9.11 world, but when they were formed, Anthrax was the word that perfectly described what they were doing. They would eventually rise to become the East Coast's premier thrash metal band, alongside Metallica, Megadeth and Slayer. In 1991, they followed Aerosmith's lead and brought in Chuck D of Public Enemy to record "Bring The Noise" in a major merger of rock n rap. Here are 16 of their all time best.
