Description
Willie Nelson, Waylon Jennings, Kris Kristofferson and Johnny Cash were icons, legends and outlaws of country music. When they united, they became the super group, The Highwaymen, a concept that allowed 4 lifelong friends to have the chance to sing, work and tour together.
This documentary focuses on how four legends can work together to produce three acclaimed albums through archival performance and interview footage shot in 1994 by album producer Don Was.
DVD features nearly 1 hour and 20 minutes of contemporary interviews with Nelson, Kristofferson, Don Was, Chips Moman, Jessi Colter and Shooter Jennings plus interviews and musical performances from Johnny Cash, Waylon Jennings, Willie Nelson and Kris Kristofferson along with remembrances and insight from their friends and family.
Includes performances of Highwaymen hits such as "Highwaymen" and "Live Forever" and the previously unreleased video from the recently discovered song "If He Came Back Again".
