Description

PARTY OF ONE are a tight, angular and intriguing three-piece from the coldest state in the USA, Minnesota. Their work is based around the enigmatic presence of guitarist/songwriter ERIC FIFTEEN, a man with a JAD FAIResque delivery and lyrical bentness. 'Caught in the Blast' is the group's killer debut album. Recorded on an 8-track, it is trebly, desiccated, underfed and stretched taut. The tunes are of the once-heard-never-forgotten variety: nagging, insistent and thrilling.
