This budget-priced collection presents 10 vintage tracks by New York City-based singer-songwriter Harry Chapin. Presenting spare folk-rock arrangements and thoughtful lyrics, Chapin won over a devoted following in the 1970s with his narrative tunes, as best evinced on his biggest hits-the melancholy father/son tale "Cat's in the Cradle" and the wistful "Taxi," both of which appear on the compilation.
