Mudvayne have sold over 4.5 million albums worldwide. Their last album ‘Lost & Found’ debuted at #12 on ARIA albums chart in April 2005.

In the US, every Mudvayne studio album has received gold certification including Mudvayne’s last release, 2005’s ‘Lost And Found’ which debuted at #2 on the Billboard Top 200 and generated the hit single, ‘Happy?’ which skyrocketed to #1 spot at radio and remained there for an incredible 10 weeks. In addition, the band was also nominated for Best Metal Performance at the 2005 Grammy’s.

The new album ‘By The People, For The People’ consists of several live recordings, rarities, demos as well as two new recordings including the first single ‘Dull Boy’ – which was produced by Dave Fortman and recorded in New Orleans – as well as an incredible never before heard cover of the Police’s “King Of Pain”.

The album is titled because it is entirely fan-generated. Mudvayne is creating history by offering their diehard fans the opportunity to participate in creating the entire content of the album.
