CULT

In the mid-1980s, the Cult was one of England's leading hard rock revivalists but there was always more to The Cult than met the eyea band with slight psychedelic flourishes, influenced primarily by Native American mysticism that also touched upon post-punk goth rock, fused with the spirit of AC/DC and Led Zeppelin.

After going into hiatus twice (once in 1995 and again after the release of 'Beyond Good and Evil' in 2002), The Cult are back - all swagger and attitude -with 'Born Into This', their first release on new label Roadrunner Recordsand follows up worldwide career album sales nearing 10 million.

First single 'Dirty Little Rock Star' will show the current crop of rock bands why The Cult are considered such legends of the genre, the current line up consisting of Ian Astbury (vocals), Billy Duffy (lead guitar), John Tempesta (drums and most know for playing drums for heavy metal bands like Testament and White Zombie), Mike Dimkitch (rhythm guitar), and Chris Wyse returning as bassist.
