Having evolved in 1968, Deep Purple has become one of the great rock acts of all time.
30 years later, and with 130 million album sales, Deep Purple continues to deliver their brand of sophisticated rock'n'roll.
This concert presentation was recorded early in 1995 when the band took to the road to showcase some of the tracks that would later make it on to their critically acclaimed 1996 album 'Purpendicular'. Amazingly, the master video tapes for this performance were found lying around in an old cardboard box late in November 1999, presumed lost. This Indian show was to support a local charity, with many reviews claiming it to be the best rock show ever staged in India.
