Description
Since 1997 Boston's Dropkick Murphys have put out five incredibly
successful releases, numerous singles, EPs, and appearances on
comps, each release bettering the previous in sales. They have amassed hundreds of thousands of fans around the globe from their legendary live performances. Blackout, conveys the most youthful sound to date from Dropkick. Even though they continue to draw on Celtic influences, (with
bagpipes, accordian, mandolin and tin whistles in their arsenal) there's a palpable youthful energy to the new songs. Three of the band members are under the age of 25. Blackout contains a value-added DVD featuring: Two tracks from the Dropkick Murphys Live DVD: "Boys On The Dock" and "Rocky Road To Dublin" as well as "Blackout" video.
