Description
When Leo (Kevin McKidd) becomes disillusioned with single life his friends try to cheer him up. His flamboyant gay flatmate Darren (Tim Hollander) throws him a well-intentioned but unappreciated surprise party, while his straight friend Adam (Christopher Fulford) urges him along to a New Age men's group.
Though a seemingly heterosexual group, Leo's romantic future peps up when he admits to a crush on newly single Irishman Brendan (James Purefoy), who becomes increasingly open to a same-sex encounter.
However, things become complicated as Leo discovers Brendan's ex-girlfriend is his high school sweetheart. Meanwhile Darren is having clandestine liaisons with rogue real estate agent Jeremy (Hugo Weaving) in various properties being sold by Jeremy. Bedrooms and Hallways is a fresh, inventive film, which questions the often intrinsic role of gender in the quest for love with warmth and humour.
