Description
Global superstar Beyonce returns with her electrifying album B'DAY.
B'DAY is the follow-up to the multi-platinum debut solo album DANGEROUSLY IN LOVE which included the hits 'Crazy In Love', 'Baby Boy', 'Me, Myself & I', 'Naughty Girl' and spawned the Gold DVD 'Live At Wembley'. The album earned Beyonce five 2004 Grammy Awards, a tied record for the most Grammys to be won in a single year by a female artist. "Dangerously In Love" and "Crazy In Love" made chart history when both album and single simultaneously hit #1 in the U.S. and the UK (which hadn't happened since 1983).
Beyonce served as co-producer, writer and arranger for the entire B'DAY album, collaborating with Darkchild, The Neptunes, Rich Harrison & Swizz Beatz.
B'DAY includes the current hit single 'Deja Vu', the radio smash 'Check On It' and the next single 'Ring The Alarm'.
'Deja Vu' features JAY-Z and was co-produced by Beyonce and Rodney 'Darkchild' Jerkins.
December 2006 will see the Soundtrack release of 'Dreamgirls', the major motion picture starring Beyonce, Jamie Foxx and Eddie Murphy. Opening in cinemas nationally January 11, 'Dreamgirls' will be a musical and soundtrack event. B'DAY includes hidden track 'Listen', lifted from this Soundtrack.
