BAD TIMING

Condemned as "sick" by its distributors, and blocked from release for twenty years, Bad Timing stands as a cinematic masterwork from British filmmaking firebrand Nicholas Roeg. Set in 70s Vienna, it's the story of an erotic entanglement between psychoanalyst, Dr. Alex Linden (Art Garfunkel), and the beautiful, dissolute Milena Flaherty (Theresa Russell). The relationship is deconstructed through the intervention of Inspector Netusil (Harvey Keitel), assigned to untangle the sordid affair when Milena is hospitalised in suspicious circumstances.
