Soon, the prison was surrounded by an army of state troopers who initiated the worst assault of Americans on Americans since the civil war. Starring Morgan Freeman (from Bruce Almighty & Kiss the Girls), Charles Durning (who received an Emmy nomination for his portrayal in Attica & also starred in O Brother, Where Art Thou?) and Henry Darrow (from Runaway Jury), ATTICA is a movie re-creation of the tragic events which followed the Attica Correctional Facility rebellion.
