Description

From their ground-breaking 1969 debut LP mixing folk, rock and classical elements, Yes were consistently at the forefront of rock’s new frontier during the ‘70s, adding synths to their sound at an early stage and pioneering the 20-minute rock epic, laced with abstract ideas and lyrics. Complemented by Roger Dean’s celebrated Tolkien-inspired album covers, the band built a huge following. ‘Topography’ features over 2 hours of Yes classics from across their career, excerpts from their legendary live concert at Hollywood’s House Of Blues and an excellent acoustic take of the band’s ‘Tales From Topographic Oceans’ epic, courtesy of long-term band member Steve Howe.
