Both John Taylor and his widowed sister Sandra are at the middle stages of their lives and both feel somewhat stifled, social worker John is struggling with the strains of his job whilst Sandra is under financial pressure, John lives in the city but while on a visit to his country living sister the pair hit on the idea of trading places.
