Charlie and Linda are desperate to have a child. But when their Doctor tells them that Charlie’s low sperm count is preventing this from happening, wife Linda suggests enlisting some outside help. Linda approaches neighbour Gordon to help, but even though he agrees, he fails to mention that he has had a vasectomy and is keeping the whole situation from his wife Maureen. When Linda realizes she’s having no luck with Gordon, she starts a secret fling with Charlie’s cousin. Meanwhile Charlie has begun an affair with Maureen as this bawdy comedy begins to bring new meaning to the phrase, “If at first you don’t succeed, try, try, again!”
