TWAIN, SHANIA

One of the most successful female country singers of all time, Shania Twain has become successful because her music invariably crosses musical barriers. Whilst she may have been a regular on the country charts, her singles and videos often suggest more than a passing reference to rock.
This particular album was originally recorded between 1989 and 1990, before Shania had linked with Mercury Records, for whom she became a major star. Whilst the album did not see the light of day at the time, there is plenty of evidence of the potential she possessed, particularly on such tracks as All Fired Up No Place To Go and Wild And Wicked. Recent post production work has given this album a distinctive Shania Twain feel and represents the only genuine collection of early Shania Twain material.
