Holidaying in Syria, celebrated sleuth Hercule Poirot (David Suchet – Dracula; Henry VIII) is drawn to the murder of Lady Boynton (Cheryl Campbell – Lewis), wife of the eccentric English archaeologist Lord Greville Boynton (Tim Curry – Rocky Horror Picture Show), while on an archaeological dig.

Each of the suspects has a motive for killing the despised victim, but only Poirot knows which of them arranged her demise. The impressive cast also features John Hannah (Cold Blood), Mark Gatiss (The League Of Gentlemen), Elizabeth McGovern (Casino Royale), Christina Cole (Hex), Paul Freeman (Monarch Of The Glen), and Tom Riley (Marple).
