Description
The Freestylers (Matt Cantor and Aston Harvey) have just finished their 4th album "Adventures In Freestyle" which is due for release in September 2006. The first single "Painkiller", a collaboration with DnB Superemos Pendulum has already been tearing up airways and is available is an Australian digital download exclusive.
The second single "In Love With You" is set to be a smash. It was written after being inspired by the Eighties classic 'To Cut A Long Story Short' by Spandau Ballet, the influence of which can be heard in the bassline. 'To Cut A Long Story Short' was a top 5 UK single for Spandau Ballet back in 1980.
The Freestylers brought in singer Ragman who features on a number of tracks on "Adventures In Freestyle" to write the lyrics, but all felt that the song would work better with a female singer and enlisted the services of London based Corinna Greyson to sing it.
Greyson has fronted her own blues based outfit for over two years now and has also worked in various bands throughout London. The song was recorded in the Freestylers own London studio and mixed down at Elite Music studios with co-producers Sy and Unknown.
