Description
A self-styled expert on Native Americans, Joe Thanks (Hill) champions the Indians' cause in the face of white hostility. The action scenes are convincing, even when offset by the tongue-in-cheek nature of the script. The incomparable Miou-Miou shows up as the heroine, while Klaus Kinski tries to take things seriously as a bandit. Ennio Morricone's score manages to pay homage to his earlier work in the films of Sergio Leone while still upholding the light-hearted nature of Genius.
